​Our wonderful volunteer Susan Conlin hosted a “Cocktails For a Cause” to raise awareness of RTE and get more people involved. It was a fun get together where we gathered several donations and it was a great opportunity to network!

​The Ready to Empower board has a very successful meeting and updates our Empowerment Model along with our programs such as the Work for Service Program. These revisions get us closer to our vision and allow us to be more efficient and effective in our goal to empower women!

​Women are graduating from the programs we provide to our flagship organization in Costa Rica! They are READY for change!! Women empowering women is EMPOWERMENT!

​Thanks to Andy Robinson, Nancy Sperry and Friends of Hacienda in San Ramon, Costa Rica our flagship program received office supplies and funds that will be used to sponsor participants for multiple months in the Women’s Work Program, counseling sessions, and clothing for Ready to Shop.

​Christa Forrest painted a portrait of a woman in our programs in Costa Rica, bringing her story to life. Forrest donated part of proceeds to Ready to Empower, supporting women around the globe.

RTE’s flagship organization in Costa Rica, Tree of Hope, has secured a partnership with Correos de Costa Rica, which is now providing women internship opportunities!
