New Partnership with CEPIA

On Oct 10, 2025, Ready to Empower(RTE) was proud to announce CEPIA, a leading nonprofit in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, as the recipient of the 2025 Ready Empowerment Program Grant™. CEPIA was selected for its proven impact, strong community presence, and shared commitment to empowering women through mental health initiatives.

Founded in 2005, CEPIA is a Costarican nationally accredited non-profit organization that has been dedicated to promoting cultural development, educational and employment opportunities, physical and mental health, and social cohesion for individuals living in vulnerable conditions across Costa Rica. The organization currently supports over 3,000 children, teenagers, and adults annually through nine comprehensive programs. With the Ready Empowerment Program, CEPIA will expand its impact by implementing a women-centered initiative that strategically addresses the mental health needs of women in the Guanacaste region.

Destined to Empower Women works to increase access to menstrual care and education by sewing reusable menstrual napkins, which can be washed and can be reused for 3 years. They are also in the process of bringing on our Empowerment Program.
