Amanda Ready is more than an award-winning Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)—she is a catalyst for change. A dynamic entrepreneur, speaker, and advocate, she has dedicated her life to expanding access to transformative mental health care and social-emotional wellness education.

As Founder and CEO of Ready to Empower, Amanda leads a nonprofit providing accessible therapy, resilience programs, and advocacy initiatives in the U.S. and globally. She is also the founder of Ready Therapy Practice and the author of Something’s Wrong at Mason’s Home, a children’s book addressing family violence and emotional safety.

With over a decade of experience partnering with schools and organizations, Amanda is known for her compassionate, trauma-informed approach.

Founded by Amanda over a decade ago, the Ready Empowerment Program™ Grant expands her mission globally—providing funding, training, and curriculum to women-focused organizations delivering trauma-informed mental health and empowerment programs in underserved communities. Amanda is the program’s lead architect and subject-matter expert, personally developing the curriculum and guiding its implementation.
