Meet Amanda and Ready To Empower!

Joe and Tammy from One Fund Costa Rica interviews Amanda Ready, the founder of Ready to Empower, to share her unbelievable story. During her first visit to San Ramon, Costa Rica, Amanda was introduced an amazing group of women that were found to be uneducated, without adequate health care, and living in poverty. Having experience working in social services, Amanda quickly got to work providing mental health counseling, social service support, advocacy for victims of domestic violence and abuse, fitness classes, and emergency relief support. This effort has now evolved into a tax-exempt nonprofit organization called Ready to Empower – an organization dedicated to serving at-risk women in the poorest communities in the world in an effort to restore hope, foster self-reliance and empower women to reach their full potential and work their way out of poverty.

In this video, we tried to capture Amanda’s limitless energy and compassion as she empowers a very impoverished community of women. Amanda truly believes in these women, and in return they believe in her. Now its out turn. Believe in Amanda and support Ready to Empower.
