Recognition for Árbol de Esperanza
Our sister organization Árbol de Esperanza was featured in their local newspaper in Costa Rica for their empowering work in the community. The NGO has been working around the clock helping to meet the needs of the community during this complex time! They have been working diligently to collect food donations and supplies to help support women, children and families.
Gucci Ballerina Fund Raises for Ready to Empower at the Virtual Artist Showcase
Dina Montefuscoli hosted the Gucci Ballerina Virtual Artist Showcase to help raise funds to support the mission of Ready to Empower. Ready to Empower was honored to have her amazing support.
Sewing classes open to the public and participants
Sewing is one of the many job courses that RTE offers to help women find jobs and or start their own business. Women are learning to sew to help provide for themselves and their family.

Pandemic relief efforts in Costa Rica
Ready to Empower’s help during the pandemic. RTE’s sister organization ADE has been delivering donations of food and other supplies to the community of San Ramon, Costa Rica.
Now offering sign language classes!
Education is empowerment! Women in Costa Rica are empowering themselves by learning sign language. Sign language is our newest addition to the elective classes being offered to women in the Empowerment Programs.

Ready to Empower is excited about the new internships being offered at local bakeries in Costa Rica! Women are getting opportunities to learn hands-on skills to help them build their resume and improve their overall skills sets for future employment opportunities.

Ready to Empower was featured in Serendipity magazine November 2019 to help spread their mission of women empowerment and highlight the annual fundraiser event, “Cocktail for a Cause” at L’Escale Restaurant in Greenwich, CT.

Ready to Empower partnered with KS Handmade, a woman owned business to help us continue our empowering work with women and their families. When you give $150 or more, you can receive a personalized 12″ x 24″ wood sign of your choosing to decorate your home or give as a gift to someone!

Congrats to Karen Jara who received 4th place from the Universidad Latina De Costa Rica for her work as the Director of our partner organization Arbol de Esperanza! Karen’s passion and hard work over the years has helped thousands of women in Costa Rica.
